Meet The Owner
Under the boundless skies of New Mexico, Shippy Ranch came to life — not as a business, but as a calling. Founded in 2021 by Robert Shippy, it was born from a restless spirit — a yearning to trade city lights for starlight, pavement for pasture, and noise for the quiet truth of open country.
Built on family, adventure, and the timeless pull of the frontier, the ranch stands as a refuge for those who still believe in wild horizons, honest work, and the kind of peace you can only find where the land stretches farther than the eye can see.
The story began in the desert heart of Phoenix, Arizona — a place alive with motion, noise, and neon. But beneath the hum of the city, Robert carried an ache for something wilder. He dreamed of a place where mornings begin with the cry of the elk and evenings end beneath a heavy sky of stars. Out of that longing, Shippy Ranch took shape — a sanctuary carved from the rugged beauty of the Capitan Mountains, where time slows, family gathers, and the spirits of the West endure.
In time, he realized such beauty was never meant to be kept behind a gate. Some places are too grand, too sacred, to belong to one family alone.
So the call goes out across the plains — come stand where the elk bugles echo through the canyons, where silence speaks louder than words, and where the land reminds you what it means to be alive.
"I would be honored to share the spirit of this place with you — my home, my dream, my Shippy Ranch."
